*Shanghai was down one and a half percent on Monday and the Nikkei fell a slight fraction, but many of the Asian indexes were still closed for the holiday. European markets are also closed for the day after Easter. US stock futures were up about a quarter percent.*The March reading of New Home Sales is due out at 9:00am CDT. Sales are expected to be up 12.0% from the month before to an annualized rate of 280k units.
*The April reading of the Dallas Fed Manufacturing Activity Index is due out at 9:30am CDT, it is forecast to rise a couple of points on the month to 13.4.
*The Fed is scheduled to buy Treasuries today that are due to mature between 10/31/16 and 3/31/18; the results of the operation will be announced just after 10:00am CDT.
