Priceline.com Inc. shares (NASDAQ:PCLN) climbed 11% a day after the online travel company projected higher third-quarter profit than Wall Street anticipated.

American Science and Engineering Inc.’s stock (NASDAQ:ASEI) declined 11% after the maker of security systems late Thursday reported first-quarter earnings below estimates.
Cogo Group Inc.’s (NASDAQ:COGO) U.S.-listed shares fell 29% after Chinese maker of software used in consumer electronic products late Thursday projected third-quarter earnings below expectations.
Rubicon Technology Inc. shares (NASDAQ:RBCN) fell 13% a day after the maker of crystalline products projected third-quarter earnings below expectations.
