(Pinksheets: BLDW), a designer and manufacturer of commercial rooftop wind turbine systems and other renewable energy technologies, announced today the installation of a new wind turbine control center at its headquarters located in Austin, Texas.

The new control center houses the electrical equipment for the Austin turbines as well as data monitoring systems for the current Austin and Corpus Christi turbines. The control center was designed to include the capability for adding future locations.

"Installation of our new control center is an important strategic milestone for Building Turbines," said John F. Graham, Sr., the company's president and CEO. "By providing state of the art monitoring systems for any turbine installation, we gather important data that benefits our continued R&D efforts and gives us the ability to securely and remotely monitor the performance of our customers' on premise installations The control center will allow customers to access wind turbine data and video at anytime from anywhere via the Internet by logging into the Building Turbines monitoring system."

The monitoring systems include sensors at the turbine locations that measure wind speed, direction, turbine RPMs and power output. The data from the sensors is fed directly to the Austin Control Center, including live video feeds, all of which can be accessed remotely by authorized customers and Building Turbines personnel.

Bernie Johnson, president and CEO of Austin Green Energy Group, who also recently joined the Building Turbines Board of Directors, is currently assisting with managing two new R&D projects for Building Turbines in collaboration with the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Johnson noted, "The new control room is very impressive and will provide an excellent platform for AGEG engineers and the UT students for their studies."
