Vista Partners Publishes March 2012 Newsletter

Vista Partners Publishes March 2012 NewsletterNorthern, WI 3/8/12 (StreetBeat) -- Vista Partners ("Vista") announced today that it published its FREE monthly newsletter for the month of March. Each monthly newsletter from Vista contains macroeconomic thoughts from its Principal Analyst, Ross Silver, and monthly highlights of each covered company.

In the March Newsletter, Ross Silver, Principal Analyst at Vista Partners states the following regarding Colombia Energy Resources, Inc. (OTCBB: CERX), "Metallurgical-coal price trends are looking better, given signs of resilient global steel production data (up 1.3% sequentially to 117.1 million tonnes (metric tons)), and domestic production cuts of Eastern met-coal production (about 2 million tons so far). We could begin to see prices begin to rise in the second half of 2012." Mr. Silver continued, "According to the IEA, Colombia is the world's tenth largest producer and fourth largest exporter of coal, with an estimated 7 billion metric tonnes of recoverable reserves and 17 billion tonnes of potential reserves. Coal accounts for half of the country's mining activity, and is the second largest export after oil. Colombia Energy Resources believes that the initial resource estimate from their current portfolio could be between 15M-20M tonnes. A 15M tonne resource should be sufficient to begin mining at a rate of one million tonnes per year, with the resource expected to increase as mining progresses, as is typical in the industry. One million tonnes produce per year equates to over $200M in revenues at current prices."
