"Our companion GPS and RFID technology is the most efficient way to monitor and ensure safe transport of goods from point-to-point. This deal with Komtelekom is one of a series of agreements we plan to make to increase EarthSearch's global footprint," said Kayode Aladesuyi, CEO of ECDC. "As we implement and expand the scale of the technology across Komtelekom's network, we anticipate the growth of a long-term and mutually beneficially relationship."
EarthSearch's proprietary wireless communication system between GPS in the truck cabin and RFID readers on product allows for safe and timely transport of goods. The integrated system provides real-time data about the state of the cargo and the truck, including monitoring pickup and drop-off times, verifying accuracy of shipments and alerting Companies as to whether trucks or cargo have been tampered with or stolen.
Komtelekom's immediate purchase of pilot products from EarthSearch occurs while discussion is ongoing for the Master License agreement to deploy the proprietary technology across the Russian Federation.
