ValidSoft (AMEX: ETAK) and Utiba Partner to Bring Advanced Security to the Mobile Payments WorldOrlando, FL 4/3/12 (StreetBeat) – ValidSoft, a global supplier of advanced telecommunications based fraud prevention, authentication and transaction verification solutions and part of Elephant Talk Communications, Corp. (AMEX: ETAK), is pleased to announce a new, global partnership with Utiba, a global leader in mobile payments and mobile financial services solutions.

Following the successful completion of stringent technical trials, ValidSoft's industry-leading, special purpose security architecture for mobile payments, SMART™ (Secure Mobile Architecture for Real-time Transactions), derived from its advanced VALid-4F® platform, has been selected by Utiba and will be integrated into Utiba's market-leading suite of mobile financial services.

Since its conception in 2001, Utiba has focused on the development of the most scalable and flexible mobile financial service platform in the market. Thanks to this partnership with ValidSoft, Utiba's more than 40 Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and banking customers worldwide will be able to offer advanced, user-friendly authentication options using ValidSoft's proprietary technology. As a result, this partnership stands to impact more than 500 million subscribers that have access to the Utiba platform, including those involved in Utiba's recently announced partnership with MasterCard.

Richard Matotek, Co-CEO of Utiba, commented, "As mobile commerce takes off around the globe, we are very aware of the importance of security for the success of any offering. As we look to deploy sophisticated financial services solutions under our Converging Payments strategy, ValidSoft is a natural choice for us. We feel ValidSoft's advanced mobile payments authentication platform (SMART™) delivers proven, real-time and user-friendly authentication that is ideally suited for mobile payments, and we are delighted to announce this partnership with them to deliver the most sophisticated and secure mobile financial services in the world."

Pat Carroll, CEO of ValidSoft, added, "We're particularly excited about this partnership with Utiba because of the scale at which Utiba operates. Following on from our partnership with Adeptra, this is the latest proof of the way in which ValidSoft's solutions can be easily and quickly integrated into the offerings of major financial technology providers. Traditional security methods are inadequate and unsuitable for the world of mobile payments. “The MicroCap of the Decade”

That’s what analyst and editor Josh Levine of the MicroCap Investor (www.levinesmicrocapinvestor.com) called Elephant Talk Communications Inc. (ETAK.OB) in a recent update. This stock is up more than 100% since his initial recommendation, but Josh is confident we’ve seen nothing yet.

Josh explains that ETAK’s technologies address a $150 billion global problem: It has the only real-time solution for the global credit and debit card fraud epidemic.

At the time of a transaction, whether it's in a store or at an ATM, its solution enables banks and credit card companies to make a decision about the transaction's legitimacy in less than a second. Amazingly, it’s proved it makes the correct decision every single time!

The pivotal moment comes when the first global bank goes ‘live’ with a significant number, maybe 100,000 customers, and is prepared to continue scaling from there.

Josh anticipates the transformational moment will occur in the current quarter -- and when it does, the fireworks will only just begin.

Elephant Talk (OTC:ETAK) Gets $10.1M from Warrant Exercise

Elephant Talk (OTC:ETAK) Gets $10.1M from Warrant ExerciseShawshank, VA 9/6/2011 (PennyPayDay) – Elephant Talk Communications, Inc., (OTC:ETAK) (www.elephanttalk.com) announced today, in a press release, that it has received gross proceeds of approximately $10.1 million from the exercise of the warrants issued to investors in 2010. All of the warrants issued with respect to the 2010 Equity Offering have now been exercised. As I write, shares of ETAK were down slightly at $3.05 per share on light volume of nearly 50,000 shares.

Elephant Talk Communications called for redemption of the warrants on August 29, 2011 unless they were exercised prior to that date. The Company paid a 5% solicitation fee to the warrant solicitation agent. The net proceeds will be used for the continued expansion of Elephant Talk's high margin mobile service platform and the commercialization of ValidSoft's anti-fraud solution.

"We believe that this capital infusion combined with our recent operational achievements will be helpful to secure a listing on a senior U.S. exchange," stated Steven van der Velden, CEO of Elephant Talk Communications. "The new capital raised from the warrant exercise is extremely positive as our auditors did not include a 'going concern' qualification in our financial statement for the fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2011. Now that we have a board with a majority of independent directors and an improved balance sheet, we will file an application to achieve a listing on a senior exchange."

Elephant Talk Communications is an international provider of business software and services to the telecommunications and financial services industry. The company enables both mobile carriers and virtual operators to offer a full suite of products, delivery platforms, support services, superior industry expertise and high quality customer service without substantial upfront investments from clients.

Awards and Volume for Elephant Talk (OTC:ETAK)Oxford, MS 5/25/2011 (PennyPayDay) -- ValidSoft, a global supplier of fraud prevention, authentication and transaction verification solutions, announced today, in a press release, that it has been awarded the 2011 European Mobile Identity Authentication New Product Innovation Award by Frost & Sullivan, a business research and consulting firm with over 50 years of experience. ValidSoft is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elephant Talk Communications (OTC:ETAK), an international provider of business software to the telecommunications and the financial industry.

Dr. Sudeep Basu, Practice Leader, Innovation Services - Technical Insights, from Frost & Sullivan, said: "ValidSoft was recognized for its outstanding technological credentials and professional demonstration of the product's capabilities. In the years to come, we expect to see ValidSoft cement its position as an essential tool in the battle against fraud."

VALid-POS is a telecommunications-based, security solution designed to combat fraud related to the use of ATMs or point of sale transactions. It does this using Proximity Correlation Logic (PCL), which assesses the proximity of a card transaction to the cardholder's mobile phone in order to decide whether or not a transaction is likely to be fraudulent. It was recognized for implementing the latest telecommunications-based technology to create a solution which helps banks to effectively overcome potential fraudulent transactions, as well as dramatically improve customer experience.

VALid-POS was awarded the EuroPriSe European Privacy Seal (in March 2010), certificating compliance with the highest privacy standards based on European data protection regulations that are recognized globally. The Frost & Sullivan award further strengthens VALid-POS as a leading fraud prevention product.

ValidSoft's products can protect against the most sophisticated types of fraud. ValidSoft's solutions essentially use what customers have -- a mobile handset. Increasingly, the mobile phone is becoming the main device for everyone to carry out transactions and communicate with. The mobile phone is the device of choice for all.

Pat Carroll, founder and CEO of ValidSoft, said, "This award is a significant milestone towards the endorsement of ValidSoft and one of our key solutions by the industry. To be recognised by such a well respected organisation is an excellent achievement. We are confident ValidSoft is set to redefine the prevention of card-related fraud and dramatically reduce both cross-border and domestic fraud around the world. We are well placed to capitalise on the market opportunities that exist."

Elephant Talk (OTCBB:ETAK):

Elephant Talk (OTCBB:ETAK):Elephant Talk Communications (OTCBB:ETAK), an international provider of business software and services to the telecommunications and financial services industries, announced today a framework agreement with Iskratel (www.iskratel.com). Under the agreement Iskratel will expand Elephant Talk's enhanced convergent global network. Iskratel will supply a minimum of 10 multimedia control nodes to Elephant Talk over the next couple of years. The first stage of the agreement, expected to be completed by April 2011, includes the delivery and installation of two telecommunications nodes in Barcelona and Madrid, Spain, worth a total value of EUR 1.2 million. The project will consist of four additional phases in various other Western Europe locations that have high demand telecommunications markets.

Steven van der Velden, Elephant Talk Chairman and CEO, said, "The importance of our partnership with Iskratel for the installation of two new switches extends beyond this deal. The first two switches from Iskratel, in combination with our fully integrated mobile delivery platform, will provide Elephant Talk with a sophisticated capacity to finalize our planned subscriber module migrations in Spain. Elephant Talk expects this migration to have a positive impact on the company's ability to become a cash flow break even operation. This agreement demonstrates Elephant Talk's commitment to expand our server capacity for our existing customers while increasing our capacity for future growth."

Andrej Polenec, Iskratel CEO, said, "Our partnership with Elephant Talk provides proof that our strategic decisions in the field of convergent service delivery platforms are correct. We have managed to design and implement a highly capable and reasonably priced platform for the most demanding markets. Our rich experience in mobile and fixed networking guarantee quality and rapid deployment."

Iskratel, based in Kranj, Slovenia, is a leading developer of adapted and highly integrated solutions in the field of communications for fast-growing convergent networks. The high quality of its advanced high-technology networking elements and infrastructure configurations makes the company one of the key innovators of such technologies. By integrating its experience and know-how with creativity and innovations, Iskratel meets the demands of existing network support and develops convergent IP-architectures that can be adapted to the particular regional needs and to subscribers' preferences. The company has about 1,100 employees, with about 300 of them working in affiliated companies in 20 countries around the world. Iskratel offers integrated solutions in telecommunications for fixed telephone communications, mobile telephony, convergent IP networks and network management.

Martin Zuurbier, CTO of Elephant Talk said, "Based on our agreement with Iskratel, we are able to stay ahead of the competition by shaping our network to the latest IMS / All IP and convergent technology. We intend to implement at least 10 MSCN's (Multi Service Control Nodes) class 4 and class 5 from Iskratel to expand our current switches. Our leading-edge, full-convergent mobile platform with all mobile systems required, such as HLR, SMSC, MMSC, GMSC, STP, GGSN, SGSN and more, will be fully integrated. By doing this, we will increase our scalability and reliability and can perform more cost effectively, regardless of telecom services or verticals. The total conglomerate of network and systems will support various industries like banks and financial institutions, telcos, retail chains, and media companies all over the world. We will begin deployment this month."
